# Christophe Kafrouni

> Christophe (Chris) Kafrouni is a Berlin-based engineer originally from Brussels, and the CTO and co-founder of Zentio, a Berlin startup building AI-native production planning for manufacturers.

## Work

- [Zentio](https://zentio.ai): CTO and co-founder since 2025. Zentio is an agentic manufacturing OS: it connects to a plant's ERP (SAP, Dynamics, Infor, ...) and machines (OPC UA), keeps a live model of machines, people, materials and orders, and runs agents that handle scheduling, staffing and replanning when disruptions happen, within rules the planners set. Raised a €1.4M pre-seed from HTGF and SIVentures in December 2025.
- Side projects: Chris builds a lot of productivity tools and AI agents outside of Zentio, including [Otter Mail](https://otterware.app/mail/). Most other projects are on [GitHub](https://github.com/ckafrouni).
- Intelligent Artificials: previously a software engineer.
